Interleave an exhibition of contemporary artists’ books by members of the Canberra Craft Bookbinders’ Guild, at the Australian National Botanic Gardens (ANBG).
These books have been inspired by the notion of botanic gardens: their ability to arouse the senses, their science, their craft, their politics and their educative role. Through intimate engagement with gardens, artists have responded through contemporary bookbinding practices.
Interleave – show cases 21 works, where exhibitors explore materials, conservation, elegance and innovation in book design and construction.
3 – 28 June, Daily, 9.30am – 4.30pm, Visitor Centre Gallery
